We are now accepting applications for 2012 apprenticeships.

We are committed to helping others to become farmers: to grow food and flowers for themselves and for others. By helping apprentices learn the art and science of sustainable food and flower production, we share in making the changes needed to positively impact our environment and the community's health with organic and biodynamic farming practices.

Each year we offer educational employment opportunities to gain practical experience in sustainable, organic and biodynamic practices. We have changed the name of this program from 'internship' to 'apprenticeship' because, in general principal, an internship is for someone who is seeking a path while an apprenticeship is for someone who has chosen a path and wishes to acquire specific skills and experience in that profession.

Our work/training program is for those who have a serious desire to pursue vegetable and/or cut flower farming as a career. Apprentices will learn the ins and outs of our farming methods by participating in every aspect of farm production and management. We offer apprentices a full farming experience.

A former apprentice, Daniel, built this rock sculpture (an Inukshuk) as a welcome to our farm.

To the right, Andy and Josh help build a trellis.
